Vinify releases new cellar home screen on the web

As we have added more features to Vinify over the past two years, the need for a unified overview of your cellar has become obvious.

We’ve listened to your feedback, and finally the new cellar home is live!

Here every Vinify user can now see:

  • Cellar statistics (labels, bottles, regions, producers)

  • Your cellar value (total buying price and total market value)

  • A brand new AI cellar assistant chat

  • Cellar history, with all your latest removed bottles

  • Quick links to your wine list and stock count

  • Wine of the month

  • Latest news from the Vinify Blog

  • More statistics on your top styles, regions and producers

New: Market value feature

  • Some restaurants have had access to market value, but now we are opening this up for everyone. Private users can get access via the new Vinify Plus subscription, available via the mobile app

  • You can now follow the market value of your cellar over time, and check this out directly in the graph on cellar home, compared with your total buying price over time

New: Cellar AI assistant chat

Vinify’s goal is for users to enjoy the most powerful cellar features imaginable, while spending minimum time managing the cellar. The new cellar AI chat is our most ambitious attempt at this.

We’re starting with just a couple of features:

  1. Ask questions about your cellar, such as “Do I have any Domaine Leflaive?”

  2. Add and remove bottles. Simply say “remove a bottle of leflaive puligny” (use your own language!) and the cellar assistant will do it.

Moving forward we will work to slowly make every feature and action in Vinify available through the chat, such as:

  • Adding new wines to your cellar

  • Adjusting prices, notes++ of wines

  • Adjusting the wine list

  • Performing stock count

  • Being specific of how a wine was removed from your cellar, letting you tag it as drunk, corked, gifted, lost, sold and more.

We’re even thinking of making these features available verbally, so you could literally talk to your cellar assistant, just like you would talk to your personal sommelier.

PS: For maximum efficiency, try asking your cellar AI assistant to do multiple things at once, such as “remove 2 bottles of leflaive puligny, 1 bottle of chave hermitage rouge and 8 bottles of bernard moreau chassagne”.

What’s next?

The new cellar home, as well as the market value feature, will become available in the iOS mobile Vinify app in September 2025. The AI chat will also become available in the mobile app when it is tried and tested, and more actions are added.
